Naxos Music Library

The music department at Queen Elizabeth’s subscribes to the online Naxos Music Library which offers all standard repertoire and an enormous range of specialist repertoire not available from other online sources. The recordings available include the complete catalogues of BIS, Chandos, CPO, Hänssler, Hungaroton, Marco Polo, Naxos and selected titles of other leading independent labels, with more labels being added from time to time.

A login (user name and password) is assigned to each subscriber and QE pupils should speak to Mr Howe or Mrs Peasnell in the Music Office to gain access to this resource.

Year 13 Economist Promit Anwar is the joint winner of The Royal Economic Society’s Young Economist of the Year Competition 2008. Promit (pictured meeting the Mayor of Barnet, Councillor John Marshall) beat off competition from nearly 400 other entries from as far afield as Singapore to claim the title and £1,000 prize.
