On Sunday 2nd December 2007 BBC LONDON revealed the 15 winners of this year's BBC London Sports Awards. Amongst this select group are Nathan Fox (Year 12), BBC London Rising Male 2007 and Tom Aggar (Old Elizabethan), BBC London Disabled Athlete 2007.

National Judo Honours for Ken

QE pupil Ken Kawamoto has just secured Junior Gold at the National Judo Championships in Sheffield. He had four fights at the tournament and won each of them with a mixture of mature groundwork and standing techniques.

'Spooky Story' competition

The Spires Shopping Centre in Barnet recently organised a 'Spooky Story' competition for local schools. The English department is pleased to report that Navi Ponrajah, in Year 7 Staplyton, was one of the two joint winners and received his prize at a presentation ceremony held in 'Waterstones'.
