Queen Elizabeth’s School has been named The Sunday Times State Secondary School of the Year 2007. The School was featured in 'Parent Power' in The Sunday Times on 18 November 2007.

After a few months in which Queen Elizabeth’s School as a whole has earned high praise from OFSTED inspectors and won the Sunday Times’ State School of the Year title, its Senior Awards Ceremony was an opportunity to reward individuals’ achievements.

Following a January inspection, Queen Elizabeth's School has been awarded OFSTED's highest grading of 'outstanding'. This is the School's fourth consecutive inspection grading at the highest level.
