Trips, Visits & Exchanges
The School arranges a broad programme every year. In 2012, a group of 14 boys undertook an expedition to Morocco as part of their Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Award. Pupils from Years 9 and 12 took part in a cross-curricular trip to the World War I battlefields, and there have been recent musical tours to Durham and to Boston, Massachusetts. Notable day trips have included: the athletics at the 2012 London Olympics; a visit by Politics students to the Houses of Parliament and a hands-on trip to the British Museum for Year 7 pupils. QE runs exchange programmes with schools in Bourg en Bresse, Bielefeld and Aachen.
