Examination Successes
QE boys have a record of achieving exceptional results in public examinations. In early 2011, QE was listed as the top state school in England in the Financial Times Top 1,000 Schools - the most stringent of all league tables as it measures schools' performance in difficult "core" academic subjects at A-level. In August 2012, 98.5% of A-level grades at QE were at A*-B, 88.5% were A* or A. At GCSE, 63.3% of examinations taken were awarded the A* grade, and 96% of our boys achieved five or more A* and A grades.
