Awards
QE holds two awards ceremonies annually. The ceremony for Senior boys (Years 10 - 13) takes place in the Spring Term, and for Junior boys (Years 7 - 9) in the Summer Term. For the Senior Awards, by long tradition the guest of honour is a Vice Chancellor from a Russell Group university. The awards recognise the achievements of individuals in a context where standards are exceptionally high. They celebrate excellence in humanities, science, performing and visual arts, sports, leadership and commitment in the service of others. Such achievements result not only from natural ability, but also from disciplined, sustained effort.
