Director of Science required for September 2020

The School now seeks to appoint an exceptional scientist, teacher and leader to the post of Director of Science. This individual will shape the strategic direction and coherent development of QE’s academic and co-curricular provision across all three science departments.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a substantial portfolio and would be excellent preparation for further career progression in a few years’ time.
The appointed candidate will blend a track record of outstanding teaching, the capacity to manage a wide-ranging remit and the strategic skills to develop and deliver an inspiring vision for science education in the 2020s. Excellent communication skills and the personal authority to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues and partner organisations are essential, as is a deep commitment to the School’s aims and ethos.
