Mrs Anandana Nadhavajhala: Biography

Anandana Nadhavajhala is a chartered accountant, a yoga practitioner and an active community volunteer – as well as a dedicated supporter of School and FQE events.
An Account Manager with specialist medical accountants Ramsay Brown, she has many years of professional experience in accountancy, taxation and management, giving her a strong foundation in financial management, governance and strategic planning.
In addition, her extensive experience as a yoga teacher leaves her well-equipped to promote mindfulness, resilience, and emotional well-being – skills which, she points out, are “vital for students navigating today’s fast–changing world”. In 2024, the Government recognised her as a Community Champion in a ceremony at 10 Downing Street.
Mrs Nadhavajhala’s involvement with volunteering for the School began with FQE coffee mornings. Since then, her contributions have been many. And whether it’s organising dance performances by QE mums and yoga demonstrations by QE pupils at the Founder’s Day Fete, or providing food for Parents’ Quiz Nights, she has brought what she calls her “enthusiastic-cum-collaborative working style” to bear in making such events a success. In 2023, she spearheaded the implementation of a cashless token system at the 450th anniversary fete.
In seeking election as a parent governor in 2025, she wrote: “With my diverse experiences and skillsets, I would be able to add a unique dimension to the team of governors, contributing to future glorious years of QE.
“As a dedicated parent of two boys, I am very passionate about contributing to our School’s governing body to cultivate an environment where every child thrives academically, socially and emotionally. I am committed to working alongside fellow parents to drive the best outcomes for boys at the School.” Her sons joined the School in Year 7 in 2023 and 2021.
