Mr Hitesh Dave: Biography

Hitesh Dave, CSci CBiol MRSB, brings more than two decades of global experience in project and change management to his role as Parent Governor.

Born into a Hindu family in India, Mr Dave is married and has a son who has been a pupil at Queen Elizabeth’s School since 2019. He holds two Master’s degrees in science, the first from Gujarat University, and the second, with distinction, from the University of Surrey. He is pursuing his PhD in Children’s Health, with research focused on childhood malnutrition. This draws on his experience of leading a child health project in South Africa between 2015 and 2017.

He has worked with leaders in science and business management around the world and is currently working as a chief scientific and management consultant. He is passionate about his roles as a UK STEM Ambassador and a Job+Coach, and has mentored many university students through successful career transitions in higher education, business and industry.

Describing himself as “an influential natural leader and values-driven people person”, Mr Dave enjoys coaching, mentoring and developing people and teams, and uses Accelerating Delivery Performance (ADP) tools as a Lean-Six Sigma-based skilled change practitioner. His record encompasses accomplishments in the fields of digital technology, matrix stakeholder management, and people-coaching. This has involved working with several senior leadership teams, helping Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and board-level executives (C-suite) at major pharmaceutical companies and in the healthcare, academic research and non-profit health sectors in the UK, South Africa and India.

Mr Dave is an Indian government-registered artist for traditional cultural music and dances; he enjoys supporting his Hertfordshire community with diverse cultural events, and he loves playing volleyball and cricket at local club levels. He is a proud recipient of an Indian NCC (National Cadet Corps) Best Cadet award from the Prime Minister of India in 1999.

He was elected as a Parent Governor in May 2021.
